One seller somewhere starts cutting the price of your product to get more customers; in order to compete, other sellers start cutting the price too, leading to product devaluation; now your product is a bucket pick.
Checking all your resellers once a week by scrolling through Google wonβt help; resellers would have sold many of your products below MAP by then. Get BotScraper on board. Set a schedule, run the checks all the time, and catch the violator at the right time!
We monitor all the marketplaces that currently hold the Buy Box, from big marketplaces to regional ones, including small third-party sellers.
Catalogue listings on chains, local shops, and distributorsβ sites can have different prices from marketplaces.
A low price for your products listed on Google Shopping or a comparison site can harm your sales, as people check prices here before they buy.
Sellers sometimes show the advertised price high but later cut it off with a promo code, bundle, or at checkout, so we monitor the final selling price also.
Below are the four stages that take you from a price list to evidence for every detected violation. Tap to learn more.

It is software that automatically tracks the advertised prices of your products across retailers, marketplaces, and ads. It compares them with your Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) policy and alerts you when a seller advertises below it.
MAP is the Minimum Advertised Price, the lowest price a reseller may publicly advertise. MSRP is the manufacturerβs suggested retail price. MAP only limits what is advertised, so a seller can still sell lower in some cases, such as at checkout or in a cart, depending on your policy.
Most tools follow the same steps:
It is mainly used by brands, manufacturers, and distributors that sell through resellers. It helps with:
Typically Amazon, Walmart, eBay, Google Shopping, retailer websites, and sometimes social or ad listings. Coverage varies by tool, so check this before buying.
It depends on the plan. Options range from daily to multiple times a day or near real time. Fast-changing categories like electronics need more frequent checks, because violations can start and end within hours.
MAP policies are generally lawful in the US when they restrict advertised prices only, not actual selling prices, and are applied consistently. Rules differ by country (for example, in the EU, restricting resale pricing is treated very differently). This is not legal advice, so have a lawyer review your policy.
Manual checks do not scale across many SKUs, sellers, and marketplaces. Prices change often, sellers can change names or storefronts, and you need screenshots and dates as proof. Automation also removes human errors and missed violations.
